Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Nairobi to Masai Mara

• Morning (7:00 AM – 8:30 AM): You will be picked up from your hotel and taken to
the office for briefings and payments, departing for the Masai Mara at around 8:30
AM.
• En Route: Enjoy a brief stopover at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint to take photos
and admire the view.
• Afternoon: Arrive at your camp around 1:30 PM for lunch, followed by time to relax
and refresh.
• Evening (4:00 PM onwards): Head out for an early evening game drive. Keep an
eye out for lions, cheetahs, elephants, zebras, buffaloes, and other plains wildlife.
• Overnight: Dinner and overnight stay at your camp or lodge.

Day 2: Masai Mara (Full Day)

• Activity: After an early breakfast, head out with a picnic lunch for a full day of
exploring the park, which connects to the northern Serengeti.
• Highlights: Visit the Mara River at the Kenya-Tanzania border, an area known for a
large concentration of wildlife.
• Lunch: Enjoy a picnic lunch under a tree by the river inside the park.
• Overnight: Return to your camp or lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 3: Masai Mara to Nairobi

• Morning: Enjoy breakfast, followed by an optional walking safari to a Maasai village
(costs an extra, negotiable USD $10 to $20 paid directly to the village).
• Mid-day: Check out and drive back to Nairobi via Narok town, stopping for lunch
along the way.
• Afternoon: Arrive in Nairobi around 3:30 PM.
• Overnight: Drop-off at your Nairobi hotel for dinner and your overnight stay.
• Note: This marks the end of the Kenya portion of the safari.

Day 4: Nairobi to Arusha

• Morning (8:00 AM): Following an early breakfast, transfer to the central boarding
point to catch the 8:00 AM bus to Arusha.
• Afternoon: Arrive in Arusha in the afternoon, check into your lodge, and enjoy a
late lunch and relaxation time.
• Overnight: Dinner and overnight stay at Greenside Lodge (or a similar class hotel).

Day 5: Arusha to Tarangire National Park to Karatu

• Morning: Have an early breakfast before being picked up to start your safari
adventure in Tarangire National Park.
• Activity: Explore Tarangire, famous for its massive baobab trees, diverse bird life,
large mammal populations, and one of Tanzania’s largest concentrations of
elephants.
• Overnight: Transfer to your lodge in Karatu for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 6: Karatu to Serengeti National Park

Morning: After breakfast, travel toward the Serengeti via the scenic high-altitude
farmlands of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
• Afternoon: Descend into the endless plains of the central Serengeti (Seronera area),
an incredibly rich wildlife habitat surrounding the Seronera River. Arrive in time for
lunch.
• Evening: Enjoy an afternoon game drive through the park.
• Overnight: Transfer to your lodge inside the Serengeti for the night.

Day 7: Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Conservation Area

• Morning: Wake up early for a dawn game drive to view wildlife at its most active,
then return to camp for breakfast before heading out for another game drive. You
will likely spot zebras and wildebeests alongside predators like lions, cheetahs, and
leopards.
• Afternoon: Following a picnic lunch, leave the Serengeti and journey toward the
Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
• Overnight: Spend the night at your accommodation in the Ngorongoro highlands.

Day 8: Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha

• Morning: After an early breakfast, drive down the steep, narrow road into the
Ngorongoro Crater.
• Activity: Enjoy a morning of breathtaking game viewing on the crater floor savanna.
If luck is on your side, you can see the “Big Five” (lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino,
leopard) in just a few hours, alongside hippos, zebras, wildebeests, and over 500
bird species.
• Afternoon: After a picnic lunch, exit the crater in the early afternoon and drive back
to Arusha.
• Overnight: Check into Greenside Lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 9: Arusha to Nairobi

• Morning (8:00 AM): Eat an early breakfast, check out, and transfer to your bus back
to Nairobi, which departs exactly at 8:00 AM.
• Afternoon: Arrive back in Nairobi in the afternoon, where you will be dropped off at
either the airport or the Nairobi Central Business District (CBD).
• Note: This marks the official end of the safari.

The Char Dham Yatra season typically runs from May to October. The best months are May-June and September-October when the weather is pleasant. The monsoon months (July-August) may see disruptions due to heavy rainfall and landslides.

Yes, all helicopter services are operated by DGCA-certified operators with experienced pilots who specialize in Himalayan flights. Safety checks and weather assessments are conducted before every flight. If weather conditions are unsafe, the flight is rescheduled.

In case of weather delays, the itinerary is adjusted accordingly. You may wait at the current location until the weather clears, or alternative road transfers may be arranged where feasible. Extra expenses due to weather delays (additional accommodation/meals) are borne by the traveler.

Absolutely! The helicopter package is specifically designed to eliminate strenuous trekking and long road journeys, making it ideal for senior citizens, children, and people with limited mobility. Pony/palki services are also included where walking is required.

Each passenger is allowed 5 kg of luggage on the helicopter. We provide complimentary aviation duffle bags during the briefing session. Your main luggage can be stored safely at the Dehradun hotel and collected upon return.
